Eric has a extensive teaching resume and has been part of Tampa Bay’s yoga community since 2002. He is currently teaching Yoga at the Dali, Yoga in the Park, Root to Rise, Ashtanga hour, yoga 101, prana flow, chair yoga, kids yoga and bhakti vinyasa in the Tampa Bay Area.  Eric and his wife start Lucky Cat Yoga from their own teaching and bring yoga to many locations in Tampa Bay. Eric is a vinyasa innovator and creates a mood through strong, but thoughtful asana practice.  In his teachings, he incorporates mindful asana, anatomical knowledge, concepts from the yoga sutras, mantras, and live music. You can find Eric at The Dali on Sundays, or at Dark Wave Yoga at Lucky Cat Yoga.

Erin, Vice President and Co-founder of Lucky Cat Yoga  Erin teaches to all levels of students. Earning he additional 300 Hr Certification from Asheville Yoga Center in 2016, she is certified to teach Prenatal yoga, Children's yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Yoga Therapeutics, and Mediation.  She and her husband Eric Wheeler founded, Lucky Cat Yoga Inc., a company that brings yoga to all ages, all levels, and all locations. They created a variety of special event yoga classes in Tampa Bay like, Glow Yoga, Acoustic Flow, House of Yoga, and Dark Wave Yoga.  
Erin's yoga journey:Battling daily with food addiction, chronic TMJ, back pain and depression, in 2003, at the top of her weight, nearly 400 lbs, Erin decided to drastically change her life and have weight reduction surgery.  She understood that the operation was a tool for her to jump start her on a healthy path.  She began a practice of yoga and meditation to help her recover from surgery and she found that it helped her heal in more ways than just physical.  “I found my true passion in life as a teacher of this ancient art of wellness.  I am constantly inspired and given so much love from my students and teachers.  I am thankful for my teachers, Eric Wheeler, Michael Johnson, Lillias Folan, David Swenson, Micheline Berry, and Shiva Rea, who have helped me on my journey on and off the mat. Danialle Dupree


Danialle is an ERYT-200 teacher certified in Hatha & Vinyasa Flow for all levels. Having come to the mat in her early teens seaking peace within her own body she knew immediately that she wanted to share it's benefits with others. She is passionate about the many ways yoga can help people regain or maintain mobility in their bodies and minds. In addition to her 200hr certification she's earned certifications in Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga.

Tammy Thompson


Tammy began practicing yoga in the late 90s as a counterbalance to long distance running. It wasn't until she had her first child in 2001 that she began to see the calming benefits that a regular practice had on her. That was when her practice really began to evolve, eventually leading her to teach. Tammy received her 200hr certification through Lucky Cat Yoga and is currently working on her 300hr-RYT through Asheville Yoga Center.
Tammy teaches various types of yoga and always works to bring the mind, body, and breath connection to her students.

Samantha Vargas


Samantha always knew she wanted to help people, the question was how? She moved to Florida in August, 2011 and started attending Hillsborough Community College. Overwhelmed with a full time schedule, she wanted something to help her relax. After she took a few classes she knew she wanted to spread joy, peace and love, just like her instructor did for her. She went on to get her AA in Liberal Arts and transferred to The University of South Florida in January, 2014. She completed her Yoga Alliance RYT-200hr training in April, 2014 with Yoga Loft. Once she began teaching she realized this is what she was meant to do instead of continuing out her degree in psychology. Now she is currently saving to take her 300hr in India. No matter how much time may pass, she will always continue be a student of yoga. She strives to bring peace, kindness, and ultimately love to her classes.

Esmeralda Guevara


Esmeralda completed her 200 HR All Levels Vinyasa Yoga Teachers Training with Lucky Cat Yoga in 2018.  In October of 2018 she partnered with us by offering our community Tampa's Massage Queen services to our upstairs Wellness Center.  Director of Wellness and manages The Yoga Boutique. Esmerelda is a gentle soul who has dedicated her life to help heal her community.

Chelsey Sampley


Chelsey’s yoga journey began in 2014 when she attended her first yoga class. She then knew that yoga would have a huge impact on her life. After focusing on her personal practice for several years she knew that she wanted to share the beauty of yoga with others as her teachers had shared with her. In 2018 Chelsey received her 200 RYT in Bali Indonesia. This training focused on principles aligned with Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga. Chelsey is a new yoga teacher in the Tampa Area and eager to share her passion for yoga with others. Chelsey’s goal is to guide her students through a practice that promotes connection, gratitude and most importantly self love.

Calvin Quinn

Calvin is a yogi from Ashburn, Virginia.   He first came to the mat to heal from significant internal health challenges and is forever moved by healing ourselves from the inside out.  Calvin believes that everyone is a yogi, it's just a matter of when we decide to get on the mat.  

Calvin plans to teach Vinyasa yoga, with focus on our fundamental Asanas.  He is learning Bhakti Yoga and hopes to integrate his love for the Ukulele into his teaching.  While not teaching yoga, he is devoted to his own practice, salsa dancing, glass blowing, and Civil Engineering.

Dina Georgoulis

Dina Georgoulis is owner of ZOE Yoga Lifestyle. A boutique yoga center in historic Tampa Heights specializing in Iyengar Yoga for alignment, rehabilitation, and movement re-education through personalized private sessions and classes. She is the only CIYT- Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher in Tampa and is a experienced 500 hour certified Yoga Teacher -ERYT- through Yoga Alliance. Dina has been practicing yoga for two decades and successfully teaching and healing for ten years. 

 She specializes in yoga for scoliosis, general back pain, injury rehab, posture strengthening and the creation of a stronger, more mobile and injury resistant physique. It is through her own struggle with scoliosis and back pain that she found the path to helping others with unique needs through the Iyengar Yoga method.

Dale Morphew

Dale Morphew has been teaching Yoga in the Tampa Bay area and  throughout the world since 1998. He along with John Stierwalt founded BalancePoint Yoga Teacher Training.

Dale offers a blend of Yoga from varied traditions of the many great teachers he has studied with. He combines their teachings with his knowledge of anatomy physiology to create classes for all levels for all ages and levels of experience. He will help you explore a deeper understanding of not only alignment and flow but the wellness journey into your yoga practice.

Michelle Pleasant


When Michelle first came to the mat over seven years ago in the Tampa Bay community, it was love at first sight. Over the years, her practice has enhanced her physical, mental, and spiritual health, while the yoga community has provided a source of support and friendship. As a gerontologist, Michelle is focused on leading classes that promote range of motion, flexibility, and balance through gentle asanas. Restorative postures are often incorporated in her classes to cultivate a meditative, nourishing state of rest. Michelle completed her YTT-200 program at Lucky Cat Yoga under the mentorship of Eric and Erin Wheeler and is honored to be sharing her practice with others.

Nicholl Mikulka


Nicholl has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and meditation for almost as long. Nicholl began a yoga practice when she was looking for a mental break from life. She kept returning to her mat because it was the only time of the week when she didn’t think outside of the present moment. Her practice has evolved over the years, at times meeting her need to move physically and at times allowing her to quiet her mind and open spiritually. Eventually, the use of essential oils during yoga and mediation became a useful tool for her. She contributes her ability to face difficult times as well as experience the joys of life to her yoga practice. Her classes are playful, challenging, and meditative in nature. During her classes you will be encouraged to breathe while you work your physical body and mind. Nicholl completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Bella Prana Yoga of Tampa in 2016 and continued her education under the instruction of David Crimi and Marley Vigdorth, in 2017. Nicholl founded MooseAsana Yoga & Meditation following training. MooseAsana combines yoga, meditation, and essential oils to assist others in meeting their health and wellness goals.

Will Ralfo


Will began his yoga practice in 2013 after systematically destroying his body from too much cross-fit. Fast forward to 2016; after a few years of dedicated practice, and a little convincing from friends, Will started the 200 hour YTT program with only the intention of deepening his practice - only to learn that the experience of teaching others is both enjoyable and rewarding. Will's classes are sequenced to music - lots of indie rock and classic rock. You can expect a focus on alignment and staying committed to breathwork.  The classes are meant to be very challenging with the intention of creating a little student puddle of samadhi at the end of class.  Challenging approach aside, an emphasis will be placed on respecting your practice and listening to your body - using Will's direction as a simple guidance and not a requirement.

Will will be subbing often during Summer 2019. Please make sure to look for him on the schedule!
